Two USA Triathlon ALL-AMERICAN'S on Team Godzilla |
Congratulations go out to 2 stellar Godzilla team members.
USA Triathlon Life, the National magazine for USA Triathlon, and the governing body for triathlon in the United States, has published their 2007 All-American rankings.
Of the 30,000 triathletes ranked in the USA, only the top 5% in each age group made it into the magazine.
The USA Triathlon ALL-AMERICAN'S on Team Godzilla are:#30 of 42 is Bob Patterson in the 55-59 Age Group.
#47 of 193 is Rick Mann in the 35-39 Age Group
It is truly a Metro Tri Club "Team Godzilla" honor to have these All-Americans on the team.
Again Congrats from Godzilla!!

Things got off to a rocky start as the 2nd van had to be towed out of the Wever yard before it could even begin the trip to Carbondale, where the teams stayed the night before the race. Details will be forthcoming at next years banquet, or just ask Keith Timmins, he might know something about it :)
Leg 1 of the race was bypassed due to conditions caused by this years flooding. It was cloudy, windy, and in the 50's throughout the race with a rare appearance by the sun. |
